WooCommerce

AI support that answers from the store's own catalogue.

Connect a WooCommerce store with a REST API key. Products, categories and the store's own pages become the assistant's knowledge, and the chat is added with one script tag.

What the assistant reads

Products, categories, inventory and the store's own pages, read through the WooCommerce REST API with the key's Read permission.

Orders and customers stay on the desk

The anonymous chat answers from the catalogue and the store's own pages. It never reads an order or a customer record; those belong to the merchant's desk, where a person answers them.

Connecting with one key

WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API → Add key, permission Read. Paste the store URL, the consumer key and the secret; Ethere stores them encrypted.

How the connection is protected

Webhooks that keep the catalogue fresh are optional and need a Read/Write key. Disconnecting removes the webhooks Ethere created and deletes the stored key.

Questions

Which permission does the key need?

Read is enough to answer shoppers. Store event notifications need a Read/Write key.

Can the assistant read orders or customers?

Not in the anonymous chat. Orders and customer records are answered on the merchant's desk by a person.

What happens when I disconnect?

Ethere removes the webhooks it created, deletes the stored key, and the assistant can no longer read store data.
